1. Choose one colour as your dominant or main colour. This should cover the largest areas to be painted. Exterior or interior surfaces can be painted in your dominant colour choice.
2. Choose a second colour as your supporting colour. Use this to pait smaller areas such as verandah walls, garages, recesses and guard walls.
3. Choose your third colour as an accent colour. Use this to cover the smallest surfaces. Accent colours are suitable for areas such as doors, sills, trims and other architectural details. They will often be rich, dark or bright colours. or you can choose white or pastel colours as accents, where they add calmness, warmth and luxury and can be contrasted against darker or richer backgrounds for a dramatic effect.
